Associate Professor Xie Jing Visited the School of Law of Hokkaido University on Invitation

On July 20, 2019, Xie Jing, Associate Professor of the Institute for Legal History Studies, visited the School of Law of Hokkaido University on invitation and delivered a lecture titled The Beyond-logic “Li”: “Dao Zei Wo Zhu (the Organizer of a Thieves’ Den)” in the Laws of Qing Dynasty from Ancient to Modern Times. The lecture was hosted by Professor Masaki TAGUCHI of Hokkaido University, reviewed by Professor Hidemitsu SUZUKI of Kyoto University, and translated by associate Professor Xue Xing of Hokkaido University. A number of scholars from Hokkaido University, Shizuoka University and Sapporo Gakuin University also participated in the discussions.
