Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Law School has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the President Xi’s important speech on epidemic prevention and control, conscientiously implemented the decision of the Ministry of Education and the school on epidemic prevention and control, insisted on putting the lives and health of teachers and students in the first place, educated and guided all teachers and students to improve their self-protection ability, and implemented various epidemic prevention and control measures in detail, to promote the prevention and control of epidemic situation and the development of education.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, Law school graduate work office immediately issued the notice to guide graduate students to prevent the epidemic in a scientific way, and then issued a proposal calling on the tutors to guide the graduate students not to return to school nor stop studying.

According to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, Law School established a leading group for epidemic prevention and control. Law School also formulate response plan to ensure joint prevention and control of the whole hospital. More than 2400 teachers and students in the hospital were carefully investigated and their health status was counted thoroughly. In the critical stage of epidemic prevention and control, relevant implementation plans were formulated to further strengthen the implementation of responsibilities.  

In order to implement the requirements of the Ministry of education, Law School has actively explored a new teaching mode during the epidemic prevention and control period, launched the online teaching project in time, and planned to organize 15 online lectures of which 11 lectures have been successfully held. In the spring semester, online teaching was carried out in an orderly manner. In the first week of the opening of the constitution online course hosted by Professor Yao Guojian, the number of students visited reached 1900. The constitution online course was rated as the most active class by the University. The relevant columns opened by the WeChat subscription of Law School have further enriched the spiritual and cultural life of teachers and students.

During the period of epidemic prevention and control, teachers of Law school actively carried out a series of special activities of anti-epidemic. By setting up characteristic columns in the WeChat Subscription of Law School, a platform has been set up for legal academic exchanges in related fields during the epidemic prevention and control period. More than 20 professional review articles have been published by teachers of Law School in various newspapers, website and other media, which aroused wide attention and made unremitting efforts to promote epidemic prevention and control.
